So far, the Abilene Atheist Community is a small group of people (around 170). As we grow, this website may provide room we need. When that time comes, we may choose to maintain our own information database. For now, we refer you to others we like.

    The purposes of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, Inc., as stated in its bylaws, are to promote the constitutional principle of separation of state and church, and to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism.

    The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience.
  • Godless Bitches – http://godlessbitches.podbean.com/
    The Godless Bitches podcast was created by Beth Presswood to focus on feminist issues from a secular perspective and to help increase the presence of women’s voices in the secular community. It is sponsored by the Atheist Community of Austin and feature regular contributions from Jen Peeples, Tracie Harris, Lynnea Glasser and others.
  • The Friendly Atheist – http://www.friendlyatheist.com
    Hemant Mehta graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with degrees in Mathematics and Biology. While there, he also helped establish their first secular student group, Students WithOut Religious Dogma (SWORD). He blogs at Patheos.
